- Who runs the Vitalhotel in the Zillertal?
Our Natur Resort is run by the owner family Rissbacher. As head chef, Michael Rissbacher is responsible for the culinary delights. Meanwhile, his wife Judith fulfils important tasks in the office, at reception and as a contact person for guests. In addition, Mrs. Rissbacher Sr. assists her son and daughter-in-law and, last but not least, is the much sought-after and demanded grandmother of three grandchildren.
- Are there any products from your own farm?
Pigs and cattle are kept on the farm and their meat - also in the form of sausage and bacon - is turned into culinary delicacies in the kitchen. In addition, the farm supplies apples and apple juice, noble brandies, liqueurs, schnapps and herbal tea. Kitchen herbs come from the farm's own garden. Dairy products and cheese come from local suppliers in the Zillertal.
- What culinary offers may I expect?
Start your day with homemade bread, jams, spreads, herbal teas and other Tyrolean delicacies at the breakfast buffet. Strengthen yourself in the afternoon with the Vitaljause and in the evening you can look forward to the freshly prepared 5-course menu.
- To what extent does the Natur Resort Rissbacher operate sustainably?
Considerable investments have been made, especially in the area of energy generation and saving, which significantly reduce the CO2 footprint of the business. In the pool, a heat recovery system is operated. The wood chip heating system supplies the house with biomass from the Zillertal and the photovoltaic system converts sunshine directly into green electricity.
