One reason may be that in earlier times people had to be more economical and conscious with food. Another possible reason is that people in the Zillertal have always been passionate about cooking. Either way - at the Rissbacher you will enjoy regional and seasonal delicacies that will elicit many an "Ah" and "Oh".

SOMETHING GOOD FROM
AGRICULTURE

Pluck fresh, aromatic herbs from the garden and immediately have the scent in your nose. Refining meat from animals that have grown up in Zillertal's fresh air. Cutting crisp apples into wedges that still have the last drops of morning dew on their skin. To be allowed to use one's own food means the greatest happiness and delight.

It is a sensual experience to use these high-quality products directly from the farm in the kitchen.

GOOD TO KNOW

The origins of many hotels in the Alps can be traced back to their origins as farms. To this very day, hosts remember their roots and use delicious and healthy products that guests dine with pleasure.

  • What animals are kept on the Rissbach farm?

    Pigs and cattle live on our own farm and we process the meat ourselves. This results in tasty roasts, sausages and bacon. Alpacas also enjoy their life here - they are very friendly companions and love to cuddle with our guests.

  • Do you have your own herb garden?

    Of course, during the warm season, freshly picked herbs are used directly in the kitchen. Our garden herbs are also valued ingredients for homemade face masks in our Sky-SPA.

  • What fruit do you harvest yourself?

    Apricots and pears grow in the garden and are used in cakes, jams and desserts. But between you and me, some of the fruit goes straight into our mouths!

  • And what makes the quality of the food so special?

    We produce a lot of our own products on our own farm. Whatever is bought in must correspond to the seasonal supply and come from the region if possible. For us, it is always a pleasure to receive the best products in organic quality.

  • Can vegetarians dine at Natur Resort Rissbacher?

    Of course, for all guests who would like to do without meat, we offer tasty alternatives. When it comes to dinner, house guests have the option of ordering an entirely vegetarian menu.
