- Why should I spend my winter holiday in the Zillertal?
There are eight varied and diverse ski areas in the Tyrolean Zillertal, all of which are accessible via modern lifts. In winter there are many possibilities for an active holiday away from the ski slopes - from cross-country skiing, winter hiking, snowshoeing and touring to ice skating, curling, tobogganing and much more.
- What can I expect on a summer holiday in the Zillertal?
A perfectly marked network of hiking and biking trails criss-crosses the entire Zillertal. There is something for everyone, from leisurely strolls to high-altitude hikes with great views to sporty, challenging summit tours. Bikes and e-bikes as well as accessories such as helmets can be rented for a fee at the local sports shop.
- What offers are there for families with children?
Take your pick from a wide range of themed and adventure trails, playgrounds in the valley and at the mountain stations, unusual excursion destinations such as the Spannagl marble cave and the NaturEisPalast on the Hintertux glacier, climbing fun, hiking rally and more. You are welcome to ask for more information at the reception.
- Are there adventure swimming pools for families in the summer?
The Stumm Badewelt with its 62-metre long slide, swimming pond, children's pool, sports pool, café-restaurant and large sunbathing lawn is the place to go. Badewelt Stumm is open daily from May to September from 9: a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Is the Natur Resort Rissbacher family-friendly?
Absolutely! Have your choice of family rooms and family suites with separate bedrooms, double rooms with an extra bed and single rooms for older teenagers or accompanying relatives. Both an indoor children's playroom and an outdoor nature playground offer opportunities to let off steam and get moving. With the exception of the Adults only area, the wellness area is open to families.
